Lately every time I visit a Starbucks they give me a FREE MUSIC DOWNLOAD card. One was even for a Dave Mathews song (cool). Can Free Downloads Help Your Career? I guess that answers that question, huh?
I have been meaning to write you guys for a while, but I have been busy gigging, recording, doing workshops and stuff. Your podcast is about the only thing (except for audio books and music) that I listen to in the car on the way to my many musical adventures.
I recently attended the Children’s Music Network national conference in Albany New York where I was asked to present a “CD Baby Success” workshop, the idea was to share DIY tips and ideas on how to sell and market music more affectively using CD Baby. I wanted you to know that your podcast was featured and recommended to the audience as a MUST HAVE marketing tool.

Realising BEATLES CD’s sell at the same price as a NEW CD today, 45 years later, I see no reason they would let loose to downloads. My opinion and observation is all this is…But…?

It’s a “full album only” download. This is perfect for our artists who sell audio books.
I love audio books too, but for now, we’ll just be focusing on music.
